Israel Voices @ 70: Ron Ben Yishai and Dorit Rabinyan
Last year Michael Misrachi, our highly regarded past Festival Director, made Aliyah with his family. But that didn’t mean he was out of the picture entirely. In these innovative Israel screenings, Michael interviews some of Israel’s best writers who give their unique perspectives on life in Israel today. In this session, we welcome back to the Festival Ron Ben-Yishai, recently awarded the Israel Prize, whose stellar career in the military and journalism informs one of the most insightful voices on Israeli politics and history. We also hear from Dorit Rabinyan whose most recent book, All The Rivers Run caused eruptions through its exploration of a relationship between an Israeli and a Palestinian.
