Raya Klinbail was born to parents who fled Holocaust in Poland, into Kazakhstan. She was one when her family returned to post - war Poland. In 1958 her family migrated to Australia. In Melbourne, she attended University High School, completed medical degree, and become a family doctor. For years, she had published travelogues and other stories. Last October she had her first book published in London, ‘Flight of the Swallows.’
